SUMMARY:2022 CONNECT event
DESCRIPTION:The 2022 CONNECT event on the 19th of May at the TU Delft is organized through a collaboration of the Young Hi Delta and study association Taylor of the Precision and Microsystems Engineering department at the University of Technology Delft. \nCONNECT 2022 is the networking event for the High Tech industry to bring soon to be graduate MSc students from the Precision and Microsystems (PME) department at the Delft University of Technology in contact with High Tech companies within Young Hi Delta. Like previous editions\, CONNECT will be co – hosted by Young Hi Delta and Taylor (representing the PME student association). It is a great opportunity to strengthen relations between researchers from the PME department and the industry. \nThe program\n\n An introduction | by the PME department of TU Delft.\n 3 minute pitch | Each of the attending companies can pitch their company.\n In between break-outs | Where students and companies can meet. During these break-outs companies get the opportunity to talk with students\, answer questions and present their company profile in more detail.\n Networking drinks | An opportunity for the students to freely join any breakroom to ask questions.\n\nIn the 2019 & 2021 edition approximately 160 people attended the event including 100 PME students\, 20 PME PhD’s and professors\, 10 Young Professionals\, Taylor\, YIN and of course the company employees. This event was organized for the first time in 2019. Due to Covid the 2020 event had to be canceled. Last year we were back with the first digital edition of CONNECT. This year our aim is to organize a physical event again.
