The Future of innovation – Co-creation in innovation making unexpected connections possible
Are groundbreaking innovations only the domain of universities? How can partnerships between industry and universities drive innovation? Will your company be more future proof when you partner up with universities and industry?
During the Future of Innovation City Event on September 23th, Prof. Vareska van de Vrande (EUR) and Gaby Offermans (TU Delft) will bring in the argument that collaborative innovation with, for example universities, is necessary to get an inflow of external ideas and technologies to the new business development process.
Are companies ready to deal with this inflow of ideas? Henk Jansen (FMI Instrumed) and Rene Kluft (Festo) talk about the opportunities of input from the customers, employees, but also will they address the challenges and hurdles they face in day-to-day operations.
Johan Reijenga (Hogeschool Rotterdam) and Remco Tournier (ICL Gasket & Insulation) highlight the importance of a new type of leadership.
Mirjam Ros, co-author of the book The Innovation Matrix, introduced a tool to define the innovation strategy that best fits your company.
